My monotypes are all done on beveled acrylic/Plexiglas plates.
Monotypes, like painting, are very love/hate with me. As someone that likes complete control over the various components in mt pieces, the freedom that monotypes allow can be a bit unnerving. It is quite the challenge to relax and let the ink flow into what it wants to be, but when I do, elation.
